M O T I O N
Moved by Council Member ,
seconded by Council Member , that, with
respect to the report of the director of Public Works dated October 20, 2026, the Council of the City of Glendale hereby:
1. Approves recommended Beeline service changes on a one-year, pilot basis, including:
a. Add an additional PM bus trip on Route 8;
b. Shift one PM route from Route 33 to Route 34;
c. Reroute Route 11 to serve Glendale Civic Center;
d. Add midday service on Route 12;
e. Add weekday evening service on Routes 1 through 8;
f. Add Sunday service to Routes 3/31 and 8;
g. Implement reduced fares for Glendale K-12 students; and h. Implement Automated Passenger Counters.
2. Authorizes the City Manager or a designee to execute an amendment to the Operation and Maintenance of Fixed Route and Dial-A-Ride Transit Services Contract with MV Transportation, Inc. (8002607)—subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney—increasing the not-to-exceed amount by $2,786,259.
