14. Conduct Interviews and Appoint Applicants to Fill Vacancies on City Council Appointed Board of Library Trustees (BLT) for Term that Expires on June 30, 2024 and Unscheduled vacancy on the Business Improvement District (BID) Advisory Board Term that Expires on June 30, 2027
A motion was made by Council Member Boyer, seconded by Council Member Allawos, that the City Council 1. Dispense the formal balloting process and reappoint incumbent Erica Landmann to the Board of Library Trustees Office No. 3 for the term of July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2027. An oral roll call vote was conducted, and the motion carried 5 - 0 as follows: AYES: Allawos, Boyer, Davis, Fredendall, Thompson; NOES: None; ABSENT: None; ABSTAIN: None.

A motion was made by Council Member Allawos, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Fredendall, that the City Council affirmed the appointment of Marianne Cintron to the Board of Library Trustees to Office No. 2 for the term of July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2027; and Veronica Salazar, Mercantile Collective & BeSpoke Hat Bar to the Business Improvement District Office No. 2 Unexpired Term for the term of June 1, 2023 – June 30, 2027. An oral roll call vote was conducted, and the motion carried 5 - 0 as follows: AYES: Allawos, Boyer, Davis, Fredendall, Thompson; NOES: None; ABSENT: None; ABSTAIN: None.
