CALL TO ORDER
The City Council meeting was called to order at 4:05 PM.

2. Conduct Interviews and Appoint Applicants to Fill Vacancies on City Council Appointed Boards of Library Trustees (BLT), Planning Commission and Water Commission that Expires on June 30, 2025
Under separate cover, a revised Attachment D and E providing an updated interview schedule, and one additional application. was posted, distributed to the City Council and made available to the public.
The City Council conducted interviews with the applicants. During the interview process for the Board of Library Trustees, Mayor Fredendall announced that Teri Merrick was unable to attend the meeting to participate in the interviews; however, expressed continued interest in being considered for appointment to the Board of Library Trustees. The City Council conducted interviews and utilized the formal balloting process.

City Clerk staff announced the appointment of Deborah Hall to Office No. 4 and Lisa Long to Office No. 5 of the Board of Library Trustees for the term of July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2028.
Following the announcement, Mayor Fredendall requested a review of his selected nominees. An error was confirmed, and it was announced that Mayor Fredendall had nominated Adrienne Ferguson and Deborah Hall for the Board of Library Trustees. The correction was made, and it did not affect the final outcome.
