Dear Mayor and City Council members,
I am writing in support of a YES vote to change the zoning on the Humane Society parcel so that they can build kennels and expand their operations.
Because the property abuts the 217 freeway and other commercial operations, including County Animal Services, this change will not negatively impact any residents. And it will greatly benefit the animals in our community.
This zoning change will also benefit the community. The local Humane Society provides a greatly needed service in our community, offering low-cost boarding, medical services, and rehoming of animals to low- income residents.
