Subject: Comment in support of Goleta Train Station Project Dear City Council Members,
I am writing to first thank you all for your continued hard work and support of the plans for the improved Goleta Train Station. This new station is an incredible step in the right direction towards a more multi- modal, sustainable future. Not only will this station support improved service from both Amtrak and Metrolink, but it will also drive economic development as the inviting station will welcome visitors to our wonderful city. I also want to express the increasing demand for safe bike parking at this future station, which I know is planned. Providing ways for people to access the station car-free is important for both residents and visitors alike.
Again, thank you for your hard work and for supporting this important project.
