SUBJECT: Jonny D. Wallis Neighborhood Park - Parking on Armitos & JDW Regarding the issue of parking in the park and Armitos Street, we do not agree that this is limited in time since we know that they want more parking for visitors but also take into account the people who already lived and live here occupy parking spaces. Can you make another way to add m ore parking spaces? And
at night it doesn't affect them. Allowing parking in the morning could be taken out, people who work very early can manage.

An example of longer parking required would be when grills are rented or used for parties at the park, this would take more than 4 hours.

Can you also please erase part of the red curbs on the street? Before there wasn't much of it outside of Nissan, but now nearly the entire street is red. Towards the end of the park, even next to the soccer field, the whole street has a lot red. The crosswalks also have a lot of red, I think that with the distance of one car at each exit is enough. I hope you please take this matter up at your meeting because this issue does affect so m
any of us who live here and have lived here for a long time.

Subject: Parking Restrictions at Jonny D. Wallis Park
Hi,
I just wanted to make a comment and share my thoughts on the proposed new parking regulations taking place at Jonny D Wallis Park. I think that the 4 hour parking limit is not a good idea or completely well thought out. If there is a reservation for the picnic areas for an event or party how is that going to work? Those take more than 4 hours. I also don’t know in what does it affect if car park overnight. There was available parking in the street before but then they painted huge long chucks red so that took away a lot of them. I believe that there can be a certain time in the morning that the overnight cars would have to be out by instead of the exclusive no overnight parking. I am a local and live here and feel like this doesn’t need to be so strict. Also about the Armitos Street 90 minute parking time, it is too short of time. We go to the park and spend more time than that and I don’t want to be leaving with my kids just to move to try and find a different parking spot.

Those are just some of my concerns and thoughts on this matter. 1 De: Pedro Ramirez <[email protected]>

Regarding the issue of parking in the park and on Armitos Street: We do not agree that these should be timed parking spots. We know that you want more parking for visitors, but please also take into account the people who already lived and live here also need parking spaces. Can there be another way to add more parking spaces?
Parking at night wouldn't affect the park and in the morning those that work early could move their cars.

An observation is when the bbq grills are rented or used for parties at the park, that would take more than 4 hours.

Another suggestion, erasing a part of the red on the curb, as there used to not be as much red zones before. In front of Nissan they entire street is now red. At the end of the park next to the soccer field, there is also a lot of red. The crosswalk sections also appear to have more red now. I think that with one car distance at each exit would be enough.

I hope that you please take our thoughts into consideration for your meeting because there are many of us who will be affected.
