Dear Council Members:
The problem of individuals living in their vehicles and parking along Phelps Rd. continues. (see attached photos). The council had an opportunity to eliminate this problem but ignored their own staffs recommendation to designate Phelps Rd. as a no parking zone. Instead the wrong decision was made to only ban oversize vehicles. This leaves individuals in cars free to park along Phelps leaving their debris which includes human waste products. The "no camping on public streets" ordinance is not being enforced by parking enforcement nor Sheriff patrol. I urge the council to reverse their wrong decision and instead m
ake the correct decision to ban all parking along Phelps.
