Hello.
We are vehemently opposed to borrowing money to complete any priority capital project.
We strongly urge city to re-evaluate the projects. If some need to be cancelled or scaled down, like the train station and project connect, so be it.
We feel that the city is mismanaging our tax money. We are pleading with city staff and council to please hear its citizens. Developers, special interest groups seem to have the ear of the city instead.
Maybe city needs to return grant money and cancel projects. Or re-evaluate our entire budget to find money.
If we have to borrow money, we are completely opposed. Please do not do this.
