City Clerk-how can we get responses to our questions if we cannot attend the meeting? Goleta City Council,
We live in the private street development of Storke Ranch(existed prior to city incorporation) in the city of Goleta that has street lights; however none of our neighborhood street lights were changed to LED when the city did this massive switch. Our HOA management and neighborhood believed SCE was in control of them, not the City of Goleta. In fact, we were told to request an LED light from SCE if one goes “out” as our only option. 1)In your documents you just shared, it states we have been and will continue to be charged this assessment. Why was our neighborhood overlooked on the LED switch in the past? 2)The old yellow lights are so dim and cause dangerous situations as areas can be so dark.
How do we finally get the new LED lights that the rest of the city has in our overlooked neighborhood?
As we have been paying these assessments, we should have received the same service as the rest of the city back when the switch happened.
