Dear City Council,
I’m sorry I can’t be with you in person today, as I am currently in Salt Lake City on a film shoot.
I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the recent recommendation of grant funding for this year’s Wild and Free Film Festival.
WAFFF is proud to call Goleta home, and as we enter our second year, we’re excited to continue building on our momentum. We look forward to working closely with the city as we grow the festival into one of Goleta’s signature arts and cultural events.
We’re thrilled to bring the community a curated selection of adventure and environmentally conscious films from around the world, and we firmly believe the festival can serve as a meaningful driver of economic activity for the region.
As highlighted at the recent State of the City event, there is real energy and progress in Goleta right now, and we’re proud to play a part in that story.
