SUBJECT: Resolutions Confirming Diagrams and Assessments and Levying Annual Assessments Pursuant to the Benefit Assessment Act of 1982 and the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972
RECOMMENDED ACTION
On May 16, 2022, the City Council approved Resolutions 2022-22 through 2022-29 providing preliminary approval of the Engineer’s Reports for each of the involved districts and setting the public hearing date for consideration of the assessments for each district for June 6, 2022. The public hearing was duly noticed during the week of May 30, but because of the holiday and the desire to ensure adequate notice to the public, staff is recommending that this matter be continued to the City Council meeting of June 20, 2022. The Council should open the noticed public hearing to receive any comments, and then continue the hearing and the resolutions by minute motion to the June 20, 2022 City Council meeting.
