RESOLUTION NO. 2022-32
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GONZALES
ADOPTING THE CITY OF GONZALES DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEE NEXUS STUDY UPDATE DATED MAY 6, 2022
WHEREAS, the City of Gonzales contracted with Willdan Financial Services (Willdan) to prepare a comprehensive review and analysis of the City’s impact mitigation fees and capital facilities, vehicles, and equipment needs associated therewith; and WHEREAS, Willdan has completed its City of Gonzales Development Impact Fee Nexus Study Update (“Nexus Study”), which includes recommendations for the modification of existing impact mitigation fees, and the discontinuation of the animal control facilities fee and the storm drainage facilities fee, and a copy of said Nexus Study was distributed to the City of Gonzales Council members and made available to the public prior to the Council’s public hearing on the matter on June 6, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the City now wishes to formally adopt the Nexus Study as complete, and acceptable for further City consideration and use.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Gonzales that the City of Gonzales Development Impact Fee Nexus Study Update, dated May 6, 2022, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and by this reference incorporated herein, is hereby adopted, and may be hereafter used by the City of Gonzales for the consideration of impact mitigation fee related actions.
