Crime and Arrests
The Gonzales Police Department investigated 13 Part I Crimes (Homicide, Robbery, Theft, Burglary, Rape, Assault and Motor Vehicle Theft) during the month of June 2022. During the same time last year, there were 11 Part I Crimes investigated.
During the month of June 2022, Officers made 8 arrests. During the same time last year, there were a total of 8 arrests.
Calls for Service
The Department responded to 584 calls for service in June 2022. There were 79 crime, accident, and information reports taken during the month.

During the month of June 2022, the Animal Control Officer (ACO) provided the following services:

Training
The Department continues to conduct in-house training.
Other
Officer Fierros along with ACO Zepeda attended the La Gloria Career Day, held on June 6, 2022 at La Gloria Elementary School.
On June 27, 2022, Officer Perez participated in the Law Enforcement Torch run.
Police Officer David Rivera was hired by the Department on June 27, 2022.
Corporal Cordoba attended a 40-hour POST certified Field Training Officer Course on June 6-June 10, 2022 in San Jose.
