AGENDA
ITEM
16 Swinerton Management & Consulting (Swinerton) was selected to provide Program Management and Construction Management Services through a Request for Qualifications solicitation in March and April 2021. A Professional Services Agreement with Swinerton was authorized at the May 3, 2021 Council Meeting for the period of May 2021 through December 30, 2024. At the time of Agreement approval, the Council authorized an initial payment of $700,000 for professional services provided from May of 2021 through June 30, 2022, all in accordance with a Fee Proposal prepared by Swinerton. It was anticipated that the Agreement would thereafter be amended at least twice to establish Swinerton’s compensation for services for each succeeding fiscal year through FY 2023-2024.
At the July 19, 2021 Council meeting, Contract Amendment No. 1 was authorized with Swinerton for preparation of the Design Criteria documents by Group 4 Architecture. The Design Criteria documents were completed in April 2022. It is now necessary to consider a second Agreement Amendment to cover Swinerton’s services for Fiscal Year 2022-2023.

4. Submit additional grant applications
5. Update project schedule and budget documents as needed
