RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GONZALES
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF THE TYLER TECHNOLOGIES
FINANCIAL SYSTEM UPGRADE, AND AUTHORIZING THE INTERIM CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR THE SYSTEM
ACQUISITION AND SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $127,874
WHEREAS, the existing financial system, Fund Balance, by Tyler Technologies, has been utilized for more than three decades; and
WHEREAS, the City of Gonzales is aware that Tyler Technologies is planning to declare “End of Life” for the Fund Balance system; and
WHEREAS, replacement of the current Fund Balance system with the new ERP Pro 10 system by Tyler Technologies will improve the City’s financial reporting system and bring more online features to the City bringing the City to the 21st Century; and WHEREAS, the system upgrade has been planned for and budgeted in the current fiscal year budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Gonzales hereby authorizes the Interim City Manager to execute agreements with Tyler Technologies for the system acquisition and services in the amount of $127,874 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Gonzales at a regular meeting duly held on the 7th day of November 2022 by the following vote:
