1 City of Gonzales
Monument Style Digital
Welcome Sign
Dear Honorable Mayor Rios and Esteemed Council Members:
Legacy Sign Company would like to present the opportunity for one or two monument style digital LED signs welcoming travelers as they drive into the City of Gonzales. Because of their digital Led capabilities, they provide the City and businesses powerful communications capabilities to connect with audiences traveling along the highway. There would be no cost to the City and in fact, considerable revenues would be generated to the city from the signs.
Our design team would work with the City to create a sign structure that incorporates the unique character of Gonzales into the design of the sign structures. With this thoughtful approach to the design of the sign structure, the sign structure itself will itself show off the style and culture of Gonzales and create appeal to anyone driving through the City.
Signs are powerful communications platform which can connect cities and their businesses to thousands of people each day. Located on the top part of these monument style signs is a digital LED display to be used for commercial and non-commercial messaging. The City will be allocated a portion of this ad space for its own promotions and community messages at no cost to the city. Potential ways the City could use this free ad space would be to further the brand of Gonzales as the Wine Capital of Monterey County, promote tourism, celebrate local community achievements and advertise local city endorsed events. Hypothetical city promotional ads are provided later in this presentation.
Additionally, the digital LED portion of the signs will give local businesses a game changing opportunity to connect with customers traveling through Gonzales who’d otherwise be unreachable. Businesses based within the city limits are incentivized with discounted ad space on the sign to help them utilize its powerful marketing capabilities and grow their businesses.
Gonzales has much to be proud of and great offerings which need to be shared. Its my hope that you find this proposal to be a solution for Gonzales to share these offerings.
Sincerely,
Scott Smith
President
