RESOLUTION NO. 2022-91
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GONZALES
APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF GONZALES
CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023
WHEREAS, each year, the City maintains job descriptions for each position and a Summary of Job Classifications and Salary Schedule that sets forth all existing job classifications and salary steps; and
WHEREAS, the adoption of an annual Summary of Job Classifications and Salary Schedule is required by CalPERS; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make changes to the pay rates for certain part-time positions to comply with the State of California increase in minimum wage, and to avoid compaction issues in pay rates between subordinates and supervisors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gonzales hereby approves an amendment to the City’s FY 2022-2023 Classification Plan in the form attached hereto as Exhibit “A”, and by this reference, incorporated herein.
