RESOLUTION NO 2022-89
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GONZALES
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH
SCHAAF & WHEELER IN THE NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $29,000 WHICH INCLUDES A CONTINGENCY BUDGET OF $2,100 FOR
UPDATING THE CITY’S WATER SYSTEM CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Gonzales operates a municipal water system that produces and supplies water for approximately 1,920 connections comprised of residential, commercial, and industrial users; and
WHEREAS, the City’s Water System Capital Improvement Program was prepared in 2019 and staff recommends that it be updated; and
WHEREAS, Schaaf & Wheeler maintains the city’s Water Model using Bentley Water CAD software; and
WHEREAS, Schaaf & Wheeler submitted a proposal to update the Water System Capital Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, Schaaf & Wheeler is on the City’s on-call consultant list, as approved at the February 18, 2020 City Council meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gonzales hereby authorizes execution of a consulting agreement with Schaaf & Wheeler to update the Water System Capital Improvement Program for a not-to-exceed fee of $29,000.
