RESOLUTION NO. 2023-08
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GONZALES AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT WITH
POLARIS CONSULTING FOR CITY SURVEYOR SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $120,000, AND EXTEND THE TERM
OF THE AGREEMENT TO JUNE 30, 2026
WHEREAS, at the February 18, 2020 meeting, the City Council approved a Consulting Services Agreement with Polaris Consulting to serve as the City Surveyor; and WHEREAS, the agreement for City Surveyor services was for a three year term with an authorized not-to-exceed fee of $50,000; and
WHEREAS, over the last three years, Polaris Consulting has provided excellent City Surveyor services to the city; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that the consulting agreement with Polaris Consulting be extended for three years, and their authorized not-to-exceed fee be increased from $50,000 to $120,000.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Gonzales that the City Manager is authorized to execute Amendment No. 1 with Polaris Consulting for a not-to-exceed amount of $120,000 and extend the term of the agreement to June 30, 2026.
