RESOLUTION NO. 2023-18
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GONZALES
AUTHORIZING VORTEX INDUSTRIES TO REMOVE AND REPLACE TWO BAY
DOORS AT THE PUBLIC WORKS CORPORATION YARD FOR A NOT-TO-EXCEED COST OF $50,000
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department needs to remove and replace two bay doors at the Corporation Yard; and
WHEREAS, Public Works Staff requested quotes for this work from four companies and received the following two quotes:

WHEREAS, Vortex Industries provided the lower cost quote for the work; and WHEREAS, Funding for this work will come from General Government Buildings (GL 100- 170-6530); and
WHEREAS, Staff recommends that the Council authorize staff to approve the quote from Vortex Company to remove and replace two new bay doors at the Public Works Corporation Building; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes staff to approve the quote from Vortex Company to remove and replace two new bay doors at the Public Works Corporation Building for the not-to-exceed amount of $50,000 ($48,132 plus $1,868 contingency for unforeseen additional expense)
