RESOLUTION NO. 2023-37
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GONZALES
ESTABLISHING THE APPROPRIATIONS SUBJECT TO LIMIT FOR THE CITY OF GONZALES FOR THE 2023-2024 FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, Section 37200 of the Government Code provides for the payment of demands based on the adoption of an annual budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has presented a proposed budget to the City Council for the 2023-2024 fiscal year; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Gonzales that:
1. In accordance with Section 2227 of the California Revenue & Taxation Code, the appropriations limit for the City of Gonzales for the 2023-2024 Fiscal Year, as set forth in Exhibits A & B, attached hereto, is $10,735,592.90.
2. Pursuant to Article XIIIB of the California Constitution, appropriations subject to limit for the 2023-2024, as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto, are $5,596,191.
3. The appropriation figures in the schedule attached hereto shall serve as the approved budget for the City of Gonzales for the 2023-2024 Fiscal Year, pursuant to Section 37200 of the Government Code of the State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Gonzales at a regular meeting duly held on the 20th day of June 2023, by the following vote:
