RESOLUTION NO. 2024-32
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GONZALES RECOGNIZING DR. CHRISTINE C. PONZIO FOR HER COMMITMENT AND
EXCELLENCE TO PROVIDING QUALITY CARE TO THE RESIDENTS OF
GONZALES, AND WISHING HER WELL ON HER RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, Dr. Ponzio graduated from UC San Diego’s School of Medicine in 1981; and WHEREAS, in 1984, she completed her Residency at the San Bernadino County Medical Center; and
WHEREAS,she then began serving the community of Gonzalesfirst through the Gonzales Medical Group and then through Salinas Valley Health’s Taylor Farms Family Health and Wellness Center; and
WHEREAS, the Gonzales City Council and the residents of Gonzales are exteremly greatful for the many years of service that Dr. Ponzio dedicated to the health and well-being of the community; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Ponzio will be exteremly missed by the many patients she has served over her years here; and
WHEREAS, the Gonzales City Council wishes Dr. Ponzio the best on her retirement and thanks her for everything she has done, and for all those years she has helped.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gonzales hereby expresses its utmost gratitude to Dr. Christine C. Ponzio for her service, and wishes her the very best on this next chapter of her life.
