The Dudek team presented within this proposal has the resources to perform all work required for each of the Project Tasks as included in the Project Scope of Work. Those tasks to be completed by subcontractors are defined within the Scope of Work. Included subcontractors are the same as utilized during the design phases of these projects. The final design bid package documents were recently completed by the Dudek team and will be advertised for bidding for the City of Gonzales (City) Industrial Sewer Collection System project (IW Conveyance Project). The final TO: PATRICK DOBBINS

design bid package documents for the Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facility project (IWTF Project) will be finalized in the coming weeks upon completion of the City’s third-party constructability review.
The Industrial Sewer Collection System is expected to advertise and bid Summer 2024 (August). Upon review of the bids and selection of the lowest-bidding, responsive and qualified contractor, construction will follow soon thereafter with an expected start of construction in November 2024 (assumes NTP September 2024). The IWTF project will bid after the Industrial Sewer Collection System with construction expected to begin early in 2025. 3 Scope of Services
Dudek has separated scopes of work for the two separate projects (IW Conveyance and IWTF). Dudek will follow the detailed scope of work tasks as outlined below.
Phase 1A – IW Conveyance System Engineering Services During Bidding and Construction
TASK 1 PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Dudek will conduct effective project administration and management including the preparation and distribution of monthly progress reports including progress to date, potential completion issues, and anticipated next steps in progress. Progress reports will also include budget status and project schedule updates. Dudek is providing budget on this item based on a three (3) month project duration.
TASK 2 ENGINEERING SERVICES DURING BIDDING
Task 2.1 Pre-Bid Meeting Support
Dudek will provide Pre-Bid Meeting support to include, but not limited to:
a. Assistance with preparation of the Pre-Bid Meeting agenda b. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting / Site Tour
c. Assistance / review of the Pre-Bid Meeting minutes
Task 2.2 Addenda Preparation & Response to Questions
Dudek will provide addenda preparation and response to questions to include, but not limited to:
a. Assist City in answering questions from prospective bidders b. Prepare supporting materials for up to three (3) addenda, as needed, and respond to bid questions, as requested
Task 2.3 Bid Evaluation Support
Dudek will provide bid evaluation support to include, but not limited to:

b. Provide summary of variances between the engineer’s cost opinion and the apparent low bidder c. Provide memorandum for bid review
Task 2.4 Conformed Plans & Specifications Preparation
Dudek will provide conformed plans & specifications including:
a. Preparation of conforming plans and specifications at completion of bidding phase, incorporating issued addenda

Task 2.1 Finalize IWTF Bidding Documents
Dudek will update and finalize the IWTF Bidding Documents including project plans, technical specifications, and engineer’s estimate of cost.
Task 2.2 Pre-Bid Meeting Support
Dudek will provide Pre-Bid Meeting support to include, but not limited to:
a. Assistance with preparation of the Pre-Bid Meeting agenda b. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting / Site Tour
c. Assistance / review of the Pre-Bid Meeting minutes

4 Fee Proposal
Dudek proposes a not-to-exceed project budget of $53,326 considering a 15% contingency as requested by the City for completion of the above Tasks 1 through 2 for the Industrial Sewer Collection System Project (Phase 1A).
Dudek proposes a not-to-exceed project budget of $166,203 considering a 15% contingency as requested by the City for completion of the above Tasks 1 through 2 for the Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facility Project (Phase 1B). Full breakdowns of estimated labor hours by category for each task are attached.
