A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GONZALES
AUTHRORIZING A ONE-TIME LUMP SUM PAYMENT TO THE
UNREPRESENTED CITY STAFF SIMILAR TO THE PUBLIC SAFETY
2026 MOU EXTENSIONS
WHEREAS, the Gonzales Police Officers Association and the Local 5388, International Association of Fire Fighters have agreed to a six-month extension of the 2025 MOU’s. The City wishes to treat the unrepresented City staff in the same manner; and WHEREAS, City unrepresented staff will receive a one-time lump sum payment. In July 2026, the implementation of a COLA will be considered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gonzales hereby approves a one-time lump sum payment to the City unrepresented staff similar to what was approved for the public safety employees.
