Call to Order
Mayor Bill Hussey convened the Regular Meeting of the City Council for Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 6:00 PM.
Invocation
The Invocation was given by Pastor Mark Matthews from Grand View Baptist Church.
Pledge of Allegiance
The Boy Scouts of America, Troop 40, presented colors and recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

B. PUBLIC COMMENT
Bobbie Forbes, Grand Terrace resident, provided an update on the crematorium that the City Council of the City of Colton approved in its city.
Pam Lemos, Colton resident, thanked Lieutenant Lane and the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department for their service. Ms. Lemos also expressed her concerns about the crematorium that the City Council Members of the City of Colton approved in its city.

6) CBF - Church of Fire in Christ
Approve the Community Benefit Fund grant application from the Church of Fire in Christ in the amount of $2,000.00 for the youth retreat Mayor Pro Tem Wilson moved, when Council Member Allen made an alternate motion, with a second from Council Member Henderson to bring the item back to the next scheduled City Council Meeting.
RESULT: FAILED (2 to 2)

City Manager Konrad Bolowich
Reminded the community to cut back on brush and stay on top of trimmings and proper dumping to reduce the potential of fires in the area.

Mayor Hussey adjourned the Regular Meeting of the City Council at 7:00 p.m. in memory of the September 11, 2001 victims and first responders. The Next Regular City Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.
