To the GV City Council,
My non‐profit has been working to help the GV/NC animal shelter, raising money and fixing kennels. The shelter is old and staff and visitors agree a plan to envision the future of the shelter is desperately needed.
Is there a plan to create a new animal shelter in the future? Thank you.

Dear City Council,
I am thrilled that Memorial Park has reopened and the improvements are great. As I live nearby, I frequent it year round.
However, I am concerned that there are now only two picnic tables in the section across from the pool. When the pickleball and basketball courts and bathroom were added, all the trees were removed as well the the tables. (But thank you for putting grass back in!) Those tables were always in use whenever I strolled by with my dog in the afternoons and every weekend. During the Covid mandates, I was able to meet with small groups of friends where we are able to sit outside, masked and socially distanced.
More tables may be in the works. Please update me as you can Thank you,
Susan Merrill
