TITLE: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GREENFIELD APPOINTING THE VOTING
DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE TO THE LEAGUE OF
CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE
BACKGROUND:
The League’s 2023 Annual Conference is scheduled for September 20-22, 2023 in Sacramento.
An important part of the Annual Conference is the Annual Business Meeting on Friday, September 22, 2023 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center. At this meeting, the League membership considers and takes action on resolutions that establish League policy.
In order to vote at the Annual Business Meeting, the City Council must designate a voting delegate as well as an alternate delegate in the event that the designated voting delegate is unable to serve in that capacity.
RECOMMENDATION ACTION:
STAFF RECOMMENDS THAT THE CITY COUNCIL APPOINT THE VOTING DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE DELEGATE FOR THE 2023 LEAGUE OF
CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND ADOPT RESOLUTION #2023-110, “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

RESOLUTION #2023-110
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GREENFIELD
APPOINTING THE VOTING DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE TO THE
LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE
WHEREAS, the League of California Cities Annual Conference is September 20-22, 2023; and
WHEREAS, it is an important part of the Annual Conference to attend the Annual Business Meeting scheduled for Friday, September 22, 2023 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento, California, and have a designated voting delegate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Greenfield hereby appoints _________ as the designated voting delegate and _________, as the alternate voting delegates to the 2023 League of California Cities Annual Conference.
