Stephanie Garcia read a statement regarding the order issued by the Court regarding the appointment of Andrew Tipton. She stated that she believed that the City did not do anything wrong and did not violate the Brown Act when appointing Mr. Tipton. She stated that her hope was for Mr. Sandoval to drop the petition and if not, for the City to consider appealing the Court’s order and send it up to the Sixth District for review.

Beatriz Diaz stated that the agenda when Mr. Tipton was appointed read that the Council would be considering appointment and not to actual appoint someone.
