Chief Dyer noted that, as part of the upcoming agreement, he recommends the City consider funding an additional position to transition from the current two-person engine staffing model to CAL FIRE's traditional three-person staffing model. Councilmember Sanchez inquired about the Volunteer Program, to which Chief Dyer responded that it is administered through Butte County. She also asked questions regarding unfunded liability.
