I prefer Map 905. The boundary lines are straightforward and group similar neighborhoods, which will likely have similar concerns and interests, together.

Subject: Final Redistricting Public Hearing
Greetings, City Council of Grover Beach. We at SBSLOA are writing to you today to voice our concerns about the forced removal of unhoused folxs from Ramona Park.
There is always a way to clean a park or area without having to displace people who have no where else to go. This is gentrification and a violation of human rights. Let them back in! We are extremely disgusted by all the violence city officials in so-called SLO County (and the rest of the Central Coast) continue to inflict onto our most vulnerable community members.
While tonight’s meeting might be about the redistricting of GB, we demand that y’all keep the unhoused and social services in mind when doing this redistricting.
Do more for people who don’t have a roof over their heads! Keep the public restrooms open 24/7 or at least until it’s late at night. We are currently in a deadly pandemic and many of these folxs are Black, Brown, and Indigenous people of color. Often times shelters are not the best options either because of all the requirements they ask for.
What the City of Grover Beach should prioritize next, is housing for everyone regardless of substance use.
Sincerely,
Santa Barbara-San Luis Obispo Alliance
