Fees are charged to those who receive services and permits Master Fee Schedule summarizes all fees the City charges City sets the fees based on a cost-recovery model
Pass-thru fees are included in the Master Fee Schedule and are updated as needed by the pass-thru agencies.
Updated annually based on Consumer Price Index (CPI)
Used Los Angeles-Long Beach Anaheim Index as it most resembles the economic trends on the Central Coast CPI of 7.5% for period ending December 31, 2022
For historical reference, the Master Fee Schedule was last increased by a CPI of 3.8%

Water and Sewer reflect current rates based on rate study previously approved Parks and Recreation fee changes are based on current market demand and local agency rates to stay competitive 5% increase instead of the CPI increase of 7.5%
Public Works Encroachment Permit & Encroachment Permit Deposit updated to reflect cost of staff time
