SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7, 2024
CALL TO ORDER Mayor Bright called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber, 154 South Eighth Street, Grover Beach, California.
ROLL CALL
City Council: Council Members Daniel Rushing , Clint Weirick, Zach Zimmerman, Mayor Pro Tern Robert Robert, and Mayor Karen Bright were present.
City Staff: City Manager Matthew Bronson, City Attorney Rob Lomeli , City Clerk Wendi Sims, Police Chief Munro, Administrative Services Director Nick Szamet and Human Resources Officer Karla Mattocks

REGULAR BUSINESS
1. Resolution to Amend the Grover Beach Police Officers' Association Memorandum of Understanding for 2024-2027
Action: It was motioned by Council Member Rushing and Seconded by Council Member Weirick to Adopt the Resolution amending the Grover Beach Police Officers' Association Memorandum of Understanding for a three-year term from August 19, 2024 to June 30, 2027 and authorize the City Manager to work with the bargaining group to finalize non-compensation language in the MOU. The motion carried on the following roll call vote:

2. Resolution to Amend Executive Management Employee Compensation for 2024-2027 Action: It was motioned by Mayor Pro Tern Robert and Seconded by Council Member Rushing to continue this item to the regularly scheduled meeting on August 26, 2024. The motioned carried on the following roll call vote:
