SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
MONDAY, MARCH 3, 2025
CALL TO ORDER Mayor Dee called the meeting to order on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., in the Ramona Garden Park Center, 993 Ramona Avenue, Grover Beach, California.
ROLL CALL
City Council: Council Members Kathy Mccorry-Driscoll, Jules Tuggle, Clint Weirick, Mayor Pro T em Robert Robert and Mayor Kassi Dee were present.
City Staff: City Manager Matthew Bronson, Deputy City Manager Kristin Eriksson, City Attorney Rob Lomeli, City Clerk Wendi Sims, Police Chief Jim Munro, Five Cities Fire Chief Scott Hallet, Administrative Services Director Nick Szamet, Community Development Director Megan Martin and Public Works Director/City Engineer Greg Ray were also present.
PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS The Mayor opened the floor to any member of the for comment on the Special meeting agenda item.

There were no other communications and the Mayor closed Public Communications.
WORKSHOP
1. Council Goals Workshop
Mayor Dee welcomed everyone to the Council Goals Workshop and introduced Raftelis Facilitators Jan Perkins and Julie Gieseke.
RECESS: At 10:00 a.m. the Council took a 5-minute recess.
RECONVENE: At 10:05 the Council reconvened with all members present.

RECESS: At 10:40 a.m. the Council took a 20-minute recess as Executive Directors joined the meeting.
RECONVENE: At 11 :00 a.m. the Council reconvened with all members present.

LUNCH BREAK: At 11 :45 a.m. the Council and Staff took a Lunch Break.
RECONVENE: At 12:40 p.m. the Council reconvened with all members present.
CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD The Mayor opened the floor to any member of the public for comment who did not speak during the initial public comment. • Elizabeth Doukas
There were no other public comments received at this time and the Mayor closed the public comment portion of the meeting.
RANKING BREAK: At 1 :45 p.m. the Council took a break to rank items.
RECONVENE: At 1 :35 p.m. the Council reconvened with all members present.
Action: The Council reviewed and identified major city goals and provided direction to staff.
