The Special Meeting was called to order at 11:03 a.m. Roll Call was taken.
Present: Councilmembers Brownstone, Penrose, Ruddock, Vice Mayor Rarback and Mayor Jiminez
INTRODUCTION AND WELCOME
City Manager Chidester welcomed everyone to the meeting and outlined the schedule for the day.
BUDGET AND FISCAL YEAR 2023-2025 PRIORITY RECAP
Finance Manager Stiles presented a recap of the budget and financial outlook.

FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 PRIORITY SETTING PLANNING
City Manager Chidester outlined the five areas that the Council would be focusing on during the Priority Setting session:
• Affordable Housing
• Public Health, Safety and Emergency Preparedness
• Community and Climate Resilience and Sustainability
• Economic Recovery and Development
• Transportation, Circulation and Mobility
• Other

City Manager Chidester summarized the meeting and stated that he would take the commentary back and begin to develop a detailed work plan.
