1. CONVENE SPECIAL MEETING / ROLL CALL
Mayor Brownstone called the Special Meeting to order at 6:32 p.m. A quorum of the Council was present.
PRESENT: Councilmember Jonsson, Penrose, and Mayor Brownstone ABSENT: Councilmember Nagengast and Vice Mayor Ruddock
2. OPEN SESSION IDENTIFICATION OF CLOSED SESSION ITEMS
City Attorney Engberg announced that the Council would be convening a Closed Session on the items listed on the agenda.
3. PUBLIC COMMENT ON CLOSED SESSION ITEMS
None.
4. CLOSED SESSION
4.A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – ANTICIPATED LITIGATION (Govt. Code section 54956.9(d)(2)&(e)(5)):
Conference with Legal Counsel regarding significant exposure to litigation by former employee Jessica Blair based on statements made by Ms. Blair’s representative to Christopher Boucher, the City’s outside labor and employment counsel. Mr. Boucher made contemporaneous records of those statements, which records will be available for public inspection pursuant to Government Code section 54957.5.
