CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL SESSION:
Mayor Morrow called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

GENERAL BUSINESS:
Planning Commission Interviews
Mayor Morrow deferred to City Manager Cifuentez for instructions. The Council agreed to a maximum of 1 5 minutes per candidate interview. The Council interviewed candidates Dennis Ham and Gunther Norris Candidate Chris Jordan was not in att endance. It was a consensus to consider the two candidates present. City Manager Cifuentez received notification that Candidate Jordan had withdrawn.
Mayor Morrow called for a nomination for the vacant term, set to expire December 31, 2024.
Council Member Ramirez nominated Dennis Ham.
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

AYES: Sharp, Brieno, Morrow, Saltray, Ramirez
Mayor Morrow called for a nomination for the Alternate position.
Council Member Saltray nominated Gunther Norris for Alternate Commissioner, with a term to expire December 31, 2026.
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]
