A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HANFORD
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AS ADMINISTRATOR OF THE PUBLIC
BENEFITS ALTERNATIVE FUEL NEW VEHICLE GRANT
At a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Hanford duly called and held on the 15th day of August 2023, it was moved by Council Member , seconded by Council.
Member , and carried that the following resolution be adopted:
WHEREAS, the City of Hanford requests authorization to purchase vehicles; and WHEREAS, the Public Benefits Grant covers $20,000.00 per new alternative fuel vehicle, the City is requesting a maximum budget of $320,000 for the purchase of four vehicles; and WHEREAS, the grant funding would provide reimbursement to the City of Hanford up to $80,000.00 for the four units that would not be covered by the grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that City Council of the City of Hanford authorizes the City Manager as administrator of the Public Benefits Alternative Fuel New Vehicle Grant.
