Firm Information
Everything Ice, Inc. is a Johnstown, Pennsylvania based specialty contractor which designs, manufactures, installs, and supports ice rinks and related components worldwide. Everything Ice leads the arena industry with innovative products which promote safety, longevity, and high energy performance. The product innovations we create have driven the market over the years and continue to lead the market today. We serve both domestic and international markets and have projects installed in every continent on the globe and every state in the nation.

Ice related sports have been experiencing double digit growth and facilities for accommodating this growth are insufficient. In addition, existing rinks have reached a replacement cycle from both an efficiency and useful life basis.

Everything Ice, Inc. was incorporated in 2007 by John Burley who was involved in the ice rink business for more than 40 years with over 1,000 rink installations during that time. Prior to starting Everything Ice, the company operated under the company name Burley Rink Supply which was started by John’s father Bill Burley.

Currently, we employ approximately 50 individuals that include sales, project management, engineering, drafting, manufacturing, and field installation. Business operations are conducted out of our office in Salix, PA. 115 School Street

Rink Piping Systems - Portable
Instant Ice – The Most Advanced Portable System
The Instant Ice portable rink piping system is the latest, and most advanced, portable system ever developed.

When it comes to making real ice with refrigeration, the Instant Ice floor design is as close as it comes to having ice instantly. Immediately after the refrigeration is activated, simply add water and watch as it begins to freeze.

This system does not require any sand, not does it require any ice paint, common to ALL other rink piping systems.

Designers created the Instant Ice system with a close center to center piping dimension to create the highest amount of heat transfer surface are of any other portable rink system. It also features a ½” tube size to allow a high volume flow rate with minimal working pressures or pressure drops.

This means Instant Ice can accommodate the largest chiller and flow rates, as well as the longest runs of any portable piping system while operating at a lower pressure. This combination results in unheard of ice making speed and lower energy costs.

Best yet, Instant Ice is made from recent innovations in exothermic polymer material applications which makes it durable, long lasting, highly efficient, and affordable. The instant Ice system compares, or beats, the first cost for all other portable rink piping systems despite the added performance and benefits it provides to the end user.

Page | 5

ADVANTAGES OF THE INSTANT ICE SYSTEM
• Largest surface area for heat transfer of any rink piping system. • Simply add water and skate. Instant Ice does not require painting, even for outdoor applications. • Retains water during the ice making process. No sand required for a high quality ice sheet. Ice bonds to the system to create under lament of structural strength to resist ice cracking. • Very low working pressures even for the highest flow system. • Will permit you to maintain your ice in warmer weather with the same size chiller than other systems. • UV stable for long term durability and performance under all applications. • Outdoor rinks can now have in-ice logos which will not float to the surface in the direct sunlight applications.
• While resisting leaks, Instant Ice is easily maintained and repaired, should a leak occur. • Instant Ice works with all secondary fluid types.
• Instant Ice can accommodate any size or shape ice rink. • Instant Ice works well with ice slides and snow parks.

Porta-Ice – Over 20 Years of Performance
We put the “Porta” in portable! If you want a seasonal rink, a toboggan/sled run, an ice show floor, or virtually any other ice need, you can rely on Porta Ice for easy installation, versatility, an excellent ice surface, and economical operation.

Porta Ice begins with special polymer tubing with 5/8” outside and ½” inside diameter. This large interior diameter eliminates tube clogging. The polymer is chemically formulated to withstand temperatures down to -107⁰F. Mats are manufactured in 4” wide sections, complete with 4” long main pipe headers attached. Both ends of the headers are grooved in our shop and lined up next to each other in the field, allowing fact connections with two-bolt groove couplings. You can install the entire system using minimal labor.

A high-velocity secondary fluid equalizes temperature across the entire surface, whether Olympic or postagestamp size. Feed and return pipes alternate the flow keeping uniform ice temperatures at both ends of the rink.

Porta Ice can be adapted to any size or shape of ice surface. It is inexpensive to operate, using only a small circulation pump. This system is designed to last 40 years!
