2:00 PM CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL SESSION:
Mayor Martinez called the special session to order at 2:01 p.m.

PUBLIC COMMENT:
Under the Brown Act, public comments during Special Meetings will be limited to items specifically listed on the agenda (GC 54954.3a). A maximum of three minutes is allowed for each speaker. Please begin your comments by stating your name and providing your city of residence.
Bob Ramos commented on the selection process. He stated that when Daryl Pyle left, the City hired Mike Olmos as the Interim City Manager. Ramos noted that Olmos came in with experience and knows the City of Hanford, as well as the job.
Francisco Ramirez commented on the selection of the Interim City Manager. He also shared his experience of the selection of the interim city manager when he was on the Council. Mr. Ramirez stated that the Deputy City Manager is not ready to take on an interim role.
