Mayor Paden called the Special Session at 4:00 p.m.

PUBLIC COMMENT:
Under the Brown Act, public comments during a Special Meeting will be limited to items listed on the agenda (GC 54954.3a). A maximum of three minutes is allowed for each speaker. Please begin your comments by stating your name and providing your city of residence.

GENERAL BUSINESS:
A. Council review and discussion of the Proposals received in response to the Request for Proposals for Executive Recruitment Services for City Manager Position and direction to staff as appropriate.
HR Manager Sarah Cardoza and HR Analyst Brenda Garcia shared the list of proposed recruitment firms for the Council's input and direction. After some discussion, the Council agreed that the top two firms would be interviewed by the Mayor and Vice Mayor. Mayor Paden suggested that the chosen firm create a recruitment video. The Council also emphasized the importance of including the community in the process.
Motion to interview the top two scoring firms.
