5:30 PM CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL SESSION:
Mayor Kairis called the special meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

PUBLIC COMMENT:
Comments from the public are limited to items listed on the agenda (GC 54954.3a). A maximum of three minutes is allowed for each speaker. Please begin your comments by stating your name and providing your city of residence.
William Harmon requested that the new City Manager address the road conditions in his neighborhood.
Bob Ramos questioned the number of candidates in attendance at the meet-and-greet.
Adam Medeiros spoke in support of Chris Tavarez for the City Manager position.
George Stallmah expressed concerns regarding several city-related issues.
Kim Harmon stated that additional activities are needed for senior citizens.
Vanessa Flores offered her services to assist with city recruitments.
Judy Scott commented on the city’s parks.
Jerry (no last name provided) expressed concerns about tree-related issues in the city.
GENERAL BUSINESS:
A. City Manager Recruitment Update and Candidate Introduction
Mayor Kairis provided a brief overview of the Meet-and-Greet and introduced Executive Recruiter of Bob Murry & Associates, Stephanie Dietz. Ms. Dietz provided an update on the City Manager recruitment process, introduced the final candidate, and explained that the Meet-and-Greet allows the public to participate in an informal setting as part of the recruitment process. No action was required of the Council.
