CALL TO ORDER
The City Council meeting was called to order on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 6:10 PM.
Pablo Rubio, City Clerk, provided brief information regarding the conduct of the meeting.
INVOCATION
The invocation was led by Pablo Rubio, City Clerk.

The flag salute was led by Mayor Roa.

Pablo Rubio, City Clerk, announced that the Nomination period for City Council candidates opens on Monday, July 18, 2022.

There were no City Attorney Reports.
H. ORAL COUNCIL REPORT(S)
Councilmember Alvarado announced that he visited our Sister City, Venustiano, Carranza – San Pedro; attended the Hawaiian Gardens Annual car show; and went to Sacramento on June 14, 2022 as Chair of the JPA to speak with legislators with regards to the card club moratorium.
Mayor Pro Tem Del Rio announced that she visited our Sister City, Venustiano, Carranza – San Pedro; and attended the Hawaiian Gardens Annual car show.
Mayor Roa announced that he attended the City’s 4 of July event; attended the Hawaiian Gardens Annual car show; and requested staff to explore alternatives for street sweeping and trash days, when there is a holiday.
