CALL TO ORDER
The City Council meeting was called to order on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 6:00 PM.

F. ORAL STAFF REPORT(S)
Neema Ghanbari, Public Works Manager, reported that Public Works purchased a new tractor; had several meetings with Caltrans and is appreciative of the recent work Caltrans performed cleaning the 605 offramp near Carson Street and adjacent areas near City Hall; and provided an update on the Pioneer Park Renovation Process – that the construction phase started today.
Elise McCaleb, Community Development Director, reported that the city received a bronze energy action award from Gateway Cities Council of Governments – for activities the city completed for energy conservation.
G. CITY ATTORNEY REPORT(S)
There were no City Attorney Reports.
H. ORAL COUNCIL REPORT(S)
Councilmember Roa asked about the new structure in the Public Works maintenance yard.

Councilmember Vargas recognized former Councilmember Lupe Cabrera who recently passed away Mayor Pro Tem De Paula thanked staff for their hard work in 2023.
Councilmember Del Rio wished everyone a Happy New Year, and is excited for the new city programming this upcoming year.
Councilmember Roa thanked staff for a successful 2023.
Mayor Farfan is excited to work together for 2024.
