CALL TO ORDER
The City Council meeting was called to order on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 6:00 PM.
INVOCATION
The invocation was led by Pablo Rubio, City Clerk.

E. ORAL STAFF REPORT(S)
Joe Jimenez, Recreation and Community Services Director, announced that February 26, 2025, is Student Government Day; and that on March 22, 2025, they are cohosting a Community Health Fair for the residents.
Neema Ghanbari, Public Works Manager, provided an update on the Carson Street Beautification project.
Ernesto Marquez, City Manager, announced the cancelation of the street sweeping scheduled for February 13, 2025, due to anticipated rainfall.
F. CITY ATTORNEY REPORT(S)
There were no City Attorney Reports.
G. ORAL COUNCIL REPORT(S)
Mayor Pro Tem Del Rio, reported that she attended the Petersen Automotive Museum to see Michael Tovar’s car on display.
Mayor De Paula, reported to he attended the Peterson Automotive Museum to see Michael Tovar’s car on display; and watched the youth game from our Mini Basketball program.
H. CLOSED SESSION
1. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS
Pursuant to Government Code section 54957.6
Agencydesignated representative: Ernesto Marquez, City Manager Employee Organizations: AFSCME Local 3624 Management Unit Union Patrick Donegan, City Attorney, read the Closed Session Item into the record.
The City Council recessed to Closed Session at 6:29 PM.
The City Council reconvened from Closed Session at 7:29 PM.
Pablo Rubio, City Clerk, conducted a roll call and announced a quorum.
Patrick Donegan, City Attorney, stated no reportable action from Closed Session.

The City Council adjourned the meeting at 7:29 PM to the next Regular City Council meeting to be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 6:00 PM.
