RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation to adopt Resolution No. 030-2025, amending the donation policy for local schools.
SUMMARY
In 2010, we had a donation policy for both local schools and non-profit organizations (Resolution No. 064-2010). In 2016, the non-profit organization's donation policy was separated (Resolution No. 029-2016), and updated again in 2017 (Resolution No. 025- 2017). The 2010 donation policy remained in effect for local schools. This amendment updates the school donation policy to reflect current practices, clarifying the timeframe for accepting donation requests and the use of donated funds.
FISCAL IMPACT
There are no additional fiscal impacts. Funds for donations are already budgeted for the current fiscal year.
