RECOMMENDATION:
RECOMMENDATION TO APPROVE DONATIONS TO NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION
SUMMARY
The donation policy provides for non-profit organizations to submit applications for donations from the City in July and January of each fiscal year. The City adopted a budget for FY 2025-2026 which included $20,000 for donations to non-profits. For the 2025- 2026 July cycle the City approved two (2) donations for $5,000 each. For the January cycle one (1) application has been received. The application has been reviewed and meets the requirements of the policy. Below is the organization, the amount requested and the planned use of the funds.
• Community Family Guidance Center – $5,000 to help support costs incurred serving Hawaiian Gardens children with assessments, case management and direct mental health services.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is $10,000 available for donations to non-profit organizations.

Approve Recommendation.
