CITY OF HAWAIIAN GARDENS
RESOLUTION NO. 008-2026
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HAWAIIAN
GARDENS, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DECLARING
CERTAIN CITY PERSONAL PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL THEREOF.
WHEREAS, there is certain City property, such as office supplies and desk accessories, as is more fully described in Exhibit A, which are obsolete, no longer functional, and have no value; and
WHEREAS, that the City Council desires to deem this property surplus and authorize the City Manager to properly dispose of such property; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HAWAIIAN GARDENS CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The above recitals are true and correct and incorporated herein as if set forth in full; and
SECTION 2. The property set forth in Exhibit A attached to this Resolution is hereby declared obsolete and of no value and therefore is declared surplus personal property of the City; and
SECTION 3. The City Manager or his/her designee is hereby authorized to dispose of the surplus personal property in any manner deemed appropriate by the City Manager; and SECTION 4. The Mayor of the City of Hawaiian Gardens is hereby authorized to affix his/her signature to this Resolution signifying its approval and adoption by the City Council of the City of Hawaiian Gardens.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk of the City of Hawaiian Gardens, or his/her duly appointed Deputy, is hereby directed to attest hereto; and shall cause this Resolution and its certification to be entered into the Book of Resolutions of the City Council of the City of Hawaiian Gardens.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Hawaiian Gardens, California on this 27th day of May 2026.
