RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation to adopt Resolution No. 017-2026 adopting a revised salary schedule for unrepresented at-will confidential and non-confidential professional and management positions effective July 1, 2026.
SUMMARY
In accordance with the requirements of the California Code of Regulations, Title 2, Sections 570.5 and 571, the City must adopt and publicly post a consolidated Salary Schedule for all City classification.
Pursuant to the terms established in Resolution No. 025-2025 City Council approved salary increases for unrepresented at-will confidential and non-confidential professional and management positions as set forth in the Management MOU approved by Resolution 19-2025. Pursuant to the terms of this Management MOU, and by virtue of Resolution No. 025-2025, unrepresented at-will confidential and non-confidential professional and management employees shall receive from the City a 2% across the board salary increase effective July 1, 2026.
FISCAL IMPACT
The approved Fiscal Year 2026-2027 budget includes the salary increases associated with the revised salary schedule.
