FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE
CONSULTANT AGREEMENT FOR GROUND WATER MONITORING FOR THE FOLLOWING 12601 HAWTHORNE BLVD., HAWTHORNE, CA 90250.
This First Amendment to the Consultant Agreement for Ground Water Monitoring Services for 12601 Hawthorne Blvd. Hawthorne, CA 90250 is made this 26th day of March 2024 by and between the City of Hawthorne, a California municipal corporation ("City") and L. Everett and Associates, Inc. (“Consultant”).
RECITALS
WHEREAS the City and L. Everett and Associates, Inc. are parties to a Consulting Agreement for Ground Water Monitoring Services dated February 14, 2018.
WHEREAS in February 2018 the City received a proposal of $53,615 from L. Everett and Associates, Inc. to conduct Ground Water Monitoring Services at 12601 Hawthorne Blvd.
WHEREAS now, the City wishes to extend the scope of work and increase the budget by $123,000 with L.
Everett and Associates, Inc. to conduct Ground Water Monitoring for 12601 Hawthorne Blvd.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
Effective March 16, 2024 the City will amend the existing agreement to extend the scope of work to conduct new Ground Water Monitoring requirements by the Los Angeles Regional Water Board and prepare deliverables, which will increase the service amount by $123,000.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, the City and L. Everett and Associates, Inc. have executed this First Amendment as of the day and year written above.
