Vendor Name  Amounts Account Number Description
South Bay Ford $130,000 600‐3103‐000‐0‐0‐40514
This fiscal year we are seeing extra expenditures due to Accidents, increase pursuit repairs, heavy‐duty vehicle CHP inspections & repairs due to new Police cars  not been available for purchase since the beginning of Covid.

The following are examples of parts and services needed is each situation.

Accidents: Requires Ford to perform some of the repairs before they go to the body shop because there is special programming that needs to be performed when certain electrical control are replaced.

Police Pursuits: Require bent wheels and sensors, brakes pads and rotors, suspension parts replaced.

CHP inspections and repairs: The Citys Heavy Duty Mechanic retired, therefore we had to send a round of trucks for inspection and repairs.

Older Police Pursuit vehicles: Due to the shortage of Police Interceptors, the maintenance on current vehicle get expensive, engines break, transmissions go out, differentials seize, water pumps burst and electronics will burn out. This is where the major repairs are performed and cost increases.

Fineline Auto $15,000 600‐3103‐000‐0‐0‐47304 This fiscal year we are seeing extra expenditures due to Accidents and increase pursuit repairs New Auto Look $10,000 600‐3103‐000‐0‐0‐47304 We added more cars to our fleet that need weekly car washes.
